Mattel Aquarius

The Mattel Aquarius was a very interesting spectacle.

Is it a videogame system? Is it a computer? It's this iffiness that makes me leave it on this page. While Mattel intended it to be a computer, it failed in that respect, and horribly so. The games, however, are a different story.

The Aquarius has much better capabilities than the Intellivision, yet all the games have a similar feel. Because of this, most Intellivision collectors (including myself) own one. I, however, don't have any joysticks, and don't have any cartridges, so the machine is relatively useless.

I was playing with the built-in Microsoft BASIC one day and realised it's only a subset of BASIC. FOR/NEXT doesn't work, you have to use GOTO!
